I started working in IT at the moment the internet became unlocked for masses of people and organisations. Technology was new and the created websites and integrations exciting.
Today, similar opportunities for organisations to change the way they communicate internally and externally arise through the introduction of machine learning.
My understanding of how language makes communication possible is rooted in my past study of philosophy of language. That culminated in a master's thesis on language processing in neural networks. Back then there was no software or hardware that was able to make these networks useful.
With current Natural Language Processing technology, strides forward are being made to channel language in a more meaningful, relevant, and personalised way. I have dived into this exciting area again.
As a Data Scientist I bring in an extensive experience as a software developer and a background in scientific methodology. A Data Scientist is a scientist with a modern toolbox!
